“Possible Jumper” on Bridge Between Rio Dell and Scotia

Emergency personnel are responding to a report of a “possible jumper on the bridge between Scotia and Rio Dell.” According to the CHP incident page, emergency personnel were requested at 6:22 p.m. Generally, in these cases, officers attempt to talk the person off the bridge and take them to be evaluated by medical professionals. We’ll update if more information becomes available.

UPDATE 6:54 p.m.: The woman has been pulled back from the edge but is “uncooperative.”

She was in the middle of the southbound lane when we saw her. She had evidently just shed her long jeans and was kicking them toward the shoulder next to the slow lane. We pulled far left to avoid hitting her and were unable to stop in time to render assistance. Several cars in back of us were slowing and no doubt notified CHP.

That lady just so happens to be a very sweet lady don’t make fun of her she’s going through it .she may have issues but who the hell are you to stand in judgement of anyone!
