Multiple agencies responded to the Rohnerville Airport as an air tanker working with Cal Fire left the incident it was fighting in the Humboldt Complex and limped to safety about 2 p.m. Fortunately, the tanker landed without incident and the agencies were unneeded.
“Everyone is okay,” said Laura Coleman spokesperson for Cal Fire. “[The incident] will be under investigation but best bet…engine failure.”
