Update 12:26 a.m.: According to the scanner, there were two initial structures, but, at this time, there are no other structures that are reported to be threatened. The fire has been contained.

Update 2:42 a.m.: Bridget Bettis-Vaile (See comment below) has set up a gofundme page for the victim of the house fire.

From the gofundme page:

A local community member and a member of the Rio Dell Fire Department has lost everything in a house fire tonight. Fred Adams and his two kids, ages 10 (girl) and 6 (boy) have lost everything out of their house. Let’s pull together as a community and try to help him replace all that was lost.

Yep. And I emailed it to loco at 11:56 pm. A Tell tale sign is fireman looks like he’s saluting… I thought to myself “perfect”.
Sigh.

The person who lived here has lost everything. He has two kids and is a member of the local fire department. I have started a gofundme for him. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My 7 year old daughter would like to give a bunch of Legos and maybe some other toys to the kids. Is there somewhere we can mail them?
