[UPDATE 6:02 p.m.:]Big Rig Closes Hwy 36…. Again

As of 1 p.m., Hwy 36 is closed at the narrows between Bridgeville and Dinsmore for larger traffic. Smaller vehicles can squeeze through with the help of Caltrans flaggers. A semi-truck couldn’t make those tight turns and ended up with its wheels off the road.

Remember Hwy 36 is closed further east due to wildfire concerns.

UPDATE 4:20 p.m.: The road is now completely closed as the truck is being removed.

UPDATE 5:30 p.m.: Truck is cleared and traffic is moving again.

UPDATE 6:02 p.m.: But the traffic line got pretty ugly….
