Crews Shoot Down Buck Fire

Cal Fire reports this morning that the Buck Fire is 80% contained and has burned 16 acres. The blaze ignited yesterday and was called in a little after 5 p.m. Flames quickly swept through the rural area burning several vehicles and two structures, said a Cal Fire spokesperson. Last night residents were advised to pack their vehicles and be prepared to evacuate. This morning, Cal Fire’s update should provide a bit of comfort to worried residents.
