Two Firefighters Injured on the Queen Complex

Two firefighters have been injured on the Queen Complex near Pecwan but Cal Fire couldn’t be reached for more information. The fire which is in remote timberlands currently has 922 personnel fighting the blaze. Cal Fire has released this evening that the complex which originally consisted of nine different starts is now 42% contained.

UPDATE 9:54 p.m.:
Laura Coleman spokesperson for Cal Fire said that two firefighters received “soft tissue injuries” and are still off duty but “doing good.”

That’s some steep country! Easy to get struck by falling debris, or become falling debris.
