Queen Fire 29% Contained
The Queen Complex which is near Pecwan and off Hwy 169 and McKinnon Hill Rd is being brought under control. Some of the nine fires which originally made up the complex have merged. There are now six fires. The rugged and remote terrain covered with timber and slash makes fighting the fires difficult. However,
Cal Fire tweeted at approximately 6:30 p.m.,
#QueenFire [update] off Hwy 169 & McKinnon Hill Rd, 5 miles SE of Pecwan (Humboldt County) is now 200 acres & 29% contained.
