EPD Gets New Chief: Adorable Kid Takes Over
Yesterday, five-year-old Steven Dixon, Jr. took command of the Eureka Police Department (EPD). Brittany Powell, the EPD spokesperson tells us that when Steven met Chief Andrew Mills he told him he wanted to be Chief one day.
So Mills made it happen. Yesterday, the boy came to the station with his mom and grandmother. “They got a tour of the police department, a patrol car, and [he] got to sit on a police motorcycle,” said Powell.
Now if we only had a crystal ball to see what career Steven will choose in the future…. No matter what it is, we can’t help thinking that Steven will never forget his time as Chief of the Eureka Police Department.

He does that well.Nice job!!
It’s really nice to see a person be a good role model for a kid. Not enough of that sort of thing happens nowadays. In this day of “it’s all about me”, taking the time to give a kid a lift is rare.
This is how a good future and a workable present is created. Thank you Steven for stepping up and to Chief Mills for making the room.
Indoctrination to the Occupation
mammas don’t let your babies grow up to be …..
Ah come on. By the looks of it, the kid had a good time. Let him have his moment. When he grows up, chances are he will see the truth.
Good article Kym.
