Assault in Arcata Area
Scanner traffic indicates the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office is at the scene of an assault in the 1200 block of Fernwood Drive in the Arcata area. The Sheriff’s Office is requesting medical crews respond for an “assault victim with head injuries.” We’ll update when we have more information.
Update 9:53 p.m.: Medical crews were requested after 8 p.m. today.

You can see the time stamp if you hover over the date at the top of the story. I’ll start adding the approximate times the posts, but I usually try not to add the time unless I know when the incident actually started.
