Helicopters Responding to a Fire in Weitchpec
According to scanner traffic, helicopters are responding a wildfire north of Weitchpec.
The Weitchpec incident is now being called the “V” Bee Fire and is three to four acres with no threatened structures. It is near Fish Lake and north of Weitchpec about five miles. The scanner indicates that the terrain is very steep.

Is the Bee fire not V. It is located on Bee Mtn.
Please folks be mindful this weekend it’s so dry all it takes is one cigarette or chain dragging to make a spark.god bless the fire fighters,jumpers,and pilots!!your all heros.And Steve Valentine please be careful fighting the fires,I’m praying
that area is very beautiful by fish lake it will burn very hot if the winds pick Up in the afternoon.
