Photos from Barn Fire Near Zane Middle School

An old barn near Zane Middle School in Eureka caught fire around 11 a.m. today. According to Mark McKenna who sent us these photos,

Fire crews had a difficult time getting the line in due to heavy brush surrounding the structure. By the time crews got a line in the thing was pretty much burned to the ground. The fire was very hot so they were going to stay and keep water flowing. According to multiple staff at Zane, many homeless people camp in that green belt.
