Marijuana and Stolen Property Located in Humboldt Hill Raid, Three Arrested

This is a press release from the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office. The information has not been proven in a court of law and the individuals described should be presumed innocent until proven guilty:

On 06-04-2015 at 7:30 a.m. the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office along with Humboldt County Drug Task Force served a search warrant at a residence located in the 2200 block of Kipling Drive, Humboldt Hill. Officers detained three suspects at the residence, who were identified as; 34 year old Ryan Michael Doucet, 22 year old Dylan Ray Lafranchi and 31 year old Crystal Dawn Taylor.

When officers searched the residence and property they located 297 growing marijuana plants that ranged in size from 3’ to 4’. Officers located approximately (14) fourteen pounds of unprocessed marijuana buds in the residence. Officers additional located stolen fishing equipment inside of the residence that was stolen from one of neighbors.

All three suspects were arrested and booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility in Eureka on the following charges:

  1. Doucet, Ryan, cultivation and possession of marijuana for sales. Bail set at $75,000 dollars.
  2. Lafranchi, Dylan, cultivation and possession of marijuana for sales and possession of stolen property. Bail set at $100,000 dollars.
  3. Taylor, Crystal, cultivation and possession of marijuana for sales and possession of stolen property. Bail set at $100,000 dollars.

    As if growing gross looking cannabis isn’t an infraction enough, stealing fishing equipment from your neighbor should carry extra punishment. Double the bail, double the punishment and write 10,000 times, “I will not steal thy neighbors fishing equipment”. I bet the neighbors allowed them to try and cultivate cannabis. They were probably as tolerant as one could be, until the dirt bags touched the fishing tackle.
