Female Body Part Found Near Mouth of Mattole Turns Out to Be Vinyl

In a twist that could only happen in Humboldt, about 7:45 p.m. the Petrolia Fire Department was sent to the scene of a possible female torso found on the river bar near the mouth of the Mattole. For a bit, tension was high. However, according to a spokesperson for the Petrolia Fire Department, no need to worry; the “body part” was vinyl.

“It looked pretty damn real,” said the spokesperson. The body part was a female pelvis, she said.

We’ll leave you with this question that has many possible answers…Why is a realistic, vinyl, female pelvis sitting near the Mattole River?

Please feel free to offer your suggestions.
