Homicide Victim Named

Press release provided by the Arcata Police Department:

On May 9, 2015 the Arcata Police Department began a homicide investigation related to a residential robbery on Eastern Ave. Refer press release dated May 10, 2015.

The homicide victim has been identified as 38-year-old Trevor Mark Harrison, of Arcata.

On May 10, 2015 APD investigators arrested 28-year-old Kimberly Lyn Steele, of Samoa for robbery in connection with the Eastern Ave homicide. Steele was booked at the Humboldt County Correctional Facility. Later, Ms. Steele was booked for PC 187 Homicide.

Investigators are continuing to follow leads in order to confirm the identity of the two male suspects.
