Southern Humboldt Eaglet Gets Fed and Falls Asleep (Good Plan, Little One)

In this video the parent eagle feeds the Southern Humboldt eaglet and then it settles down for a nap. The fast growing little one is now four weeks old. It’s probably a little over a foot tall now and in the next few weeks black juvenile feathers will begin to grow to replace the warm, downy feathers.

Thanks again to Ann Constantino for her video footage. If you have photos or video you would like to share send them to
