Wanted Parolee From Curry County, Oregon Arrested in Front of Lone Pine Motel
This is a press release from the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office. The information has not been proven in a court of law and the individuals described should be presumed innocent until proven guilty:
On 04-23-2015, at approximately 11:00 p.m., Sheriff’s Deputies with the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office contacted Heather Dufay (age 31) in front of the Lone Pine Motel, 912 Redwood Drive, Garberville. Dufay was a person of interest in a grand theft case and deputies wanted to speak to her about the investigation.
During the interaction, Dufay falsely identified herself as Heather Nash. Deputies were unable to locate a match for this name utilizing several law enforcement databases. Dufay eventually provided her true identity to the deputies. It was determined that Dufay is a wanted parolee at large from Curry County Oregon with full extradition.
Dufay was placed under arrest for her parole warrant. Dufay was searched and found to be in possession of suspected concentrated cannabis.
Dufay was transported to the Humboldt County Correctional Facility where she was booked for falsely identifying herself to law enforcement, possession of suspected concentrated cannabis, and the parole warrant.

It seems incredible that someone can screw themselves up like this and not get it that they are dying from the outside in, if not from everywhere to everywhere! I know well of addiction, and understand completely the cycles, but there is a point at which lots of folks just figure out that if they look like that sorrowful hack, they had better start trying a different course. I’ve seen pictures of people dead for three days from an OD that look better than this ugly wench!

So, What happens if Oregon is so happy that she is gone that they leave her here?
Also, she was down here living under an alias. If nobody knew where she was, what would happen if she disappeared? I wonder how many people completely disappear forever in Humboldt County never to be found. What a sad way to live a life, when it can be so darn fun and interesting if you just don’t give up.
The real question is,
‘ How many people WANT it that way? ‘.
Sounds bad, but it’s reality. Like whales headed full steam towards a beach.
