At the entrance to the Rancho there is a burned out car, and, lately, also a small house trailer which does not yet seem burned out. Anyone know what’s up with that?

The trailer fire seems to have damaged the phone line to Alderpoint, and all our phones would not dial numbers out of the valley for most of the day. Verizon was fixing it, but their Customer Service didn’t know it, which was quite frustrating since they would not acknowledge that there was a problem with the town phone service. I took some pictures of the burned out trailer and car, along with their new phone pole but the internet at KMUD would not send email (it was hardly working at all) so it wasn’t until now that I could send them to you. I think Mary Alice sent you a picture of the trailer a few hours before it was torched. Good night.
