HSU Student Questioned By University Police for Threats
Email sent out by Humboldt State University to students today:
University Police are questioning a student who allegedly made threatening comments on a website the evening of April 12.
Liang Huang, a freshmen, was detained by police earlier this morning. This followed reports received from a number of students about a threat to set off a bomb on campus.
Police do not believe there was an imminent danger to the campus, but take all such threats seriously. They report that Huang is being cooperative. The case remains under investigation, and beyond possible criminal charges, Huang faces sanctions for student conduct violations.
