humboldt county sheriffOn 04-09-2015, at approximately 2:40 p.m., the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call from a business located in the 700 block of Redwood Drive, Garberville. It was reported that a theft had just occurred and that an employee was struck by the suspect’s vehicle.
Two Sheriff’s deputies arrived on scene within one minute of receiving the 911 call. The deputies were told the suspect vehicle, described as gold or beige mid 1990’s four door sedan, had just left traveling northbound on Redwood Drive. The deputies canvassed the area but were unable to locate the vehicle.
The deputies retuned to the business and spoke to a store employee. The employee reported that a female suspect had been seen cutting the belt loops off of jeans that were chained to a stand in front of the store. The employee attempted to confront the person who then fled to an awaiting vehicle (described above). The employee ran towards the vehicle and attempted to confront the driver. The driver looked directly at the employee and then accelerated the vehicle at the employee. The employee did not have an avenue of escape and was forced to jump onto the hood of the vehicle. The employee was able to then jump off of the vehicle and sustained only minor injuries.
The female suspect is described as white female adult, early twenties, about 5’10” tall, heavy build, with brunette hair. She was last seen wearing black colored rectangular shaped frame eyeglass, a black V-neck cut shirt, and blue jeans.
The male suspect who was driving the vehicle was described as a white male adult, in his late twenties, average build, short blonde hair, blue eyes, and was clean shaven. He was last seen wearing a light colored T-shirt.
The suspect vehicle has a California license plate similar to 6YW666 and was last seen traveling northbound on Redwood Drive.
The Sheriff’s Office is asking for assistance in identifying these suspects. Anyone with information for the Sheriffs Office regarding this case or related criminal activity is encouraged to call the Sheriffs Office at 707-445-7251 or the Sheriffs Office Crime Tip line at 707-268-2539.

Chain it down, nail it down, tie it down- and they’ll still come through the wire. I’ll go out on a limb and speculate it was a gold Ford Taurus because it’s a main mode of transportation for city people that come to loot, or loot in their oun districts.

It’s too bad people would try to run someone over for some jeans made in China, and aren’t downloading the first four episodes of Season five Game Of Thrones from a torrent site, instead. Why wait until tonight, when you can have it now?
