Four Arrested in Salyer: Pounds, Plants and Cash Seized

Information provided by the Trinity County Sheriff’s Department:

On Friday, March 27, 2015 Detectives from the Trinity County Sheriff’s Narcotics Task Force along with Officers from the United State Forest Service and California Highway Patrol served a narcotics search warrant on 18596 Highway 299 in Salyer, CA. Four subjects; Jon Mustapich, Rachel Rodriguez, Jarrett Brickner & Jimmy Garcia were located on the property in Salyer and taken into custody without incident and booked into the Trinity County Jail on 182 PC, 11358 HS & 11359 HS. 1,105 marijuana plants were eradicated, nearly 219 pounds of processed marijuana was located and $30,900 in US currency was seized. All four subjects were cited out of the Trinity County Jail on March 27, 2015. There is an ongoing investigation and anyone with information regarding this case is urged to contact the Trinity County Sheriff’s Narcotics Task Force at 530-623-1378.
