The suspects are still at large. If you know where these individuals are located, call 911.
UPDATE 9:34 a.m.:
According to Lt. George Cavinta of the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office, the suspects’ Rav4 was located about 1 a.m. “somewhere near 4th street.”
Law enforcement impounded the vehicle and it will be searched for evidence.
Cavinta, who has gotten little sleep as he works on this case, said that yesterday he and his officers worked gathering evidence and attempting to track down the individuals involved. “We served two search warrants yesterday,” he said. One was where the three individuals were injured (at least one was shot.) Another was at a “secondary location where we thought the possible suspects might be,” he said.
At this point, Cavinta said that his officers have not recovered the weapon/s used in the incident. He reiterated that anyone knowing the whereabouts of the suspect should immediately call 911.
