Trinity Man Arrested in Connection with Two Stabbing Victims and Two Victims with Head Injuries

Trinity County Press Release:

On Friday, August 1, 2014 at approximately 10:30pm the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office received a report that 2 males had been stabbed near the KOA Campground in Trinity Center.

The two stabbing victims were transported via air ambulance to Redding area hospitals where they were treated and released.

Two additional individuals were located on State Highway 3, a short distance from the campground with head injuries. Those two victims were transported to Trinity Hospital where they were treated and released.

On Wednesday, August 6, 2014, Zachery Kline [age 21 from Trinity Center] was arrested on a Trinity County Warrant for $50,000.00 on the above charges at his residence in Trinity Center without incident by the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office. He was transported to the Trinity County Jail where he is waiting to be booked for Assault with a Deadly Weapon (Not a Firearm) and Vandalism.

The Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the incident and further information will be release when available.
