Lodge Lightning Complex Expands to 750 Acres; Structure Threatened
According to Cal Fire Incident Information, the Lodge Lightning Complex northwest of Laytonville now encompasses 750 acres and a structure is threatened. After battling the fire on steep terrain and in high temperatures, fire crews managed to get 20% containment.
Cal Fire Incident Management Team 4 took command of the fire at 2 p.m. The number of personnel on the fire has increased to 656. (See here for more statistics.)
