Kenny Fire by Laytonville Yesterday Evening

A fire started in a heavy timber area yesterday evening by the Red Bridge Area of Branscomb Road near Laytonville at 7:19 p.m. Cal Fire and Laytonville Fire responded with one air attack plane, two tankers, a copter, four engines, four crews, a water tender and a dozer. The fire burned one outbuilding and five acres before it was completely contained around 11:20 p.m. The cause is under investigation.
