NPR Along with Mother Jones Snickers at Humboldt’s “Flower” Ads

Ads from Trim Scene Solutions, a business based in Southern Humboldt, and Royal Gold Potting Soil, an Arcata company got a nod on NPR today. A couple of weeks ago, Mother Jones’ magazine highlighted more Humboldt ads that appear to be attempting to reach marijuana growers.

NPR questions a lawyer about the legality of these kinds of advertisements and looks at how the FCC might view such colorful attempts to market to one of the main drivers of our local economy.
