Humboldt County Sheriff’s Press Release:

The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office Animal Shelter is currently full of dogs. To encourage more adoptions, the Humboldt County Animal Shelter has reduced adoption fees for all adoptable dogs to $78.00. The Shelter has seen a large influx of dogs over the past couple of weeks resulting in a lack of space.

If you are missing your dog or cat, please contact the Animal Shelter immediately!

The Shelter has several dogs looking for their new forever home. You can view adoptable dogs at www.petharbor.com or stop by and meet them. The Shelter is located at 980 Lycoming Ave in McKinleyville, we are open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10-4 and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10-7.

The shelter can be contacted by calling 707-840-9132 for more information or if you are interested in volunteering at the shelter.
