Highway 101 Partially Closed Due to a Slide near Richardson’s Grove

UPDATE 4:55 P.M.: Scott Burger, the Caltrans Public Information Officer for this area sent the following information about the slide.

The southbound lane of Route 101 was closed at approximately 12:40 pm today just north of the One Log House near Richardson Grove due to a slide. Traffic was opened to two way at approximately 1:57 pm. The estimated amount of debris was three truck loads. One way traffic control was in effect during slide clean up.

CHP is reporting lane closure south of Singing Trees near Richardsons Grove.  A small slide crossed part of the road, according to Pattie Watson, Executive Director of Singing Trees. Caltrans is on site and directing traffic.  Along with CHP, they are running one way controlled traffic.  The northbound lane is open but the southbound lane is closed.
