Ngaio Bealum started as a street performer at San Francisco’s Pier 39, quickly moved indoors, and became a San Francisco Favorite. A finalist in the San Francisco International Stand Up Comedy Competition, his great storytelling ability, combined with hit razor sharp wit and engaging stage presence never fail to leave any audience howling with laughter. He has appeared on ABC, MTV, BET, Comedy Central (most recently on The Sarah Silverman Program), and many other television shows like Byron Allen’s Comics Unleashed and Merv Grifin’s Crosswords. The above paragraph came from Ngaio’s press release.  However, I can personally vouch for how funny he is.  My husband and I watched him a little over a year ago at the Mateel and we both laughed hard.  He does cannabis humor especially well and seems intimate with the details of a grower’s life.
