Power Lines Down on Salmon Creek Road [Road Now OPEN]

UPDATE 6:43 P.M.: According to Marty Messenger from Humboldt Co. Roads, there will be crews on the road working to re-established power to the area for the next four to five hours. There will be controlled traffic as they work. Please be careful.

UPDATE 6:30: According to Thomas Norris of the Salmon Creek VFD, the road is now opened but power will remain out for a good while.

UPDATE 5:25: Road closed til further notice.

Original post:A tree has dropped into the power lines on Salmon Creek Road near Miranda.  The power lines are down and electricity is out in the area. There is fire in the tree and three fire departments are on the way. PG&E is on the way. There will be numerous personnel in the area so please avoid the road if at all possible. Follow updates here.
