561 Plants, 478 Pounds of Pot, and $17,000 Found at Trinity Grows October First

On October 1, 2013, Officers with the Trinity County Narcotics Task Force and the California Highway Patrol served a search warrant on multiple pieces of property in Hayfork, CA. Upon entering the properties Officers encountered and detained multiple subjects. Searching Officers located multiple weapons, including a bolt action 50 caliber scoped rifle with hundreds of rounds of 50 caliber ammunition and other miscellaneous ammunition. High capacity shotgun magazines were also located at one of the properties.

Officers located and seized 561 growing marijuana plants, 478 pounds of processed marijuana and approximately $17,000.00 in US Currency. Interviews were conducted with the subjects that were located at the properties and it was determined that the marijuana cultivation operation was being conducted with the intention to sell the harvested marijuana. N. Apicello, A. Apicello and Brennan were arrested on the above charges and transported to the Trinity County Jail where they were booked. All three subjects were cited out of the Trinity County Jail on October 2, 2013.
