Woman Arrested for Stealing Marijuana [Updated with Photo]

On 10/2/13 at about 2036 hours, Officers from APD were dispatched to the 700 block of 7th St for a report of a citizen detaining a burglary suspect.
Officers arrived on scene and found the suspect being detained by a resident of the house that was being burglarized.
Upon further investigation it was learned that the suspect entered through an unlocked door to the residence while the resident was still inside. The resident heard suspicious noises from inside his residence and found LeAnna Shawn DUNKEN, 34 of Eureka, in the process of stealing marijuana from his residence.
LeAnna DUNKEN was arrested for 459 PC – Burglary, 11350 H&S – Possession of Heroin, 11364.1(a) H&S, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and 11357(c) H&S, Possession of Over One Ounce of Marijuana.
DUNKEN was booked and lodged at the Humboldt County Correctional Facility for the above charges.
