Dump Truck Accident Partially Blocked Hwy 101 South of Leggett
CHP Press Release:
On 9/20/13 at approximately 0925 hours, [Talwinder Hansra age 32 from Fairfield, CA] was driving a 2006 Peterbilt dump truck, south on US-101, south of Empire Rest Area. As he exited a left curve for southbound traffic, his unsafe speed caused him to lose control of his vehicle. The vehicle rolled over and came to rest on it side blocking the #1 lanes of both north and southbound US-101. He suffered major injuries as a result of this collision and was transported to Howard Memorial Hospital in Willits, CA.
