At Least 16 Arrested for Marijuana Related Crimes Yesterday–12 in What Appears to Be One Fell Swoop

A quick scroll through this morning’s Booked raises LoCO’s eyebrows this morning.  The Humboldt Co. Sheriff’s Office was very busy yesterday. Our intrepid Hank Sims, up and about early, caught the flood of marijuana arrests starting yesterday at midnight.

The first two cannabis arrests, Carlos Cachu and Michael Metelits, may or may not be related to the 12 arrests of individuals with eastern European names at 9:30 A.M. yesterday for the same charge of marijuana cultivation.

Then there are at least two more for marijuana related crimes, Jaime Contreras at 1:15 P.M. and Yul Cashman at 2 P.M.

Could any of these arrests be related to yesterday’s raid by Bridgeville? LoCO has a request for more information into the Sheriff’s Dept.
