Grants Available for Humboldt Organizations to Improve Community Health

Humboldt Area Foundation Press Release:

Mental health, substance abuse, homelessness, dental care, and healthcare reform. These are all issues that greatly impact our communities and many organizations are working hard to address them. Union Labor Health Foundation has grants available to help Humboldt organizations make an impact in community health.  They are accepting Community Health Grant proposals through September 3. The average grant award is $5,000-$8,000.

Union Labor Health Foundation was established in 1997 to support the health and well-being of the residents and communities of Humboldt County. In the last sixteen years, the Foundation has awarded $3.17 million to community health efforts through organizational grants, funding partnerships, nursing scholarships and assistance to low-income children and adults for health and dental care, To learn more about all the Foundation has to offer and their grant programs visit www.ulhf.org.
