Fire in Salmon Creek Area
UPDATE 9:30 P.M.: According to George Monroe VFD Chief of Myers Flat, there had been a controlled burn in the Rossi Ranch Lane upper area of Salmon Creek. He believes that the people burning thought the fire was out and left. Then the fire restarted. Two engines and a hand crew from Cal Fire and two engines from the Myers Flat VFD responded. Another couple weeks of warm weather, Monroe says, and there could have been a bad wildfire.
