MADD Gives Awards to Local Prosecutor and Law Enforcement Officers

Humboldt County District Attorney’s Office Press Release:

Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) awarded Deputy District Attorney, Elan Firpo, the 2013 Outstanding Prosecutor for her outstanding dedication to holding defendants accountable for committing the crime of driving under the influence. 

MADD also gave awards to Arcata Police Department Officers, Eric Losey and Krystle Arminio; Garberville Area California Highway Patrol Office Mike Major, Humboldt Area California Highway patrol Officers Bob Marinez, Jeramie Bowen, Brian Solus, Joel Skeen, Timothy Yost, and Michael Hindley; Eureka Police Department officers Greg Hill and David Chapman; Ferndale Police Department officers Lindsey Frank and Adam Stricker; and Fortuna Police Department officers Gabe Charlton and Maxwell Soeth; with Garberville Area California Highway patrol officer being awarded the North Coast Top DUI Arresting Officer.

Humboldt County District Attorney expressed pride in Deputy Attorney Elan Firpo’s and all o fthe officers’ commitment and dedication to keeping our streets safe from impaired drivers, and expressed gratitude to MADD for their recognition of Deputy Firpo and all of these dedicated officers’ work and commitment.
