Lecture on Marine Invertebrates Tonight in Redway

A talk on the “Fascinating Lives of Marine Invertebrates” will be offered free to the public, Tuesday, Feb. 26, at 7 p.m. at the Healy Senior Center, 456 Briceland Rd., Redway.

Dr. John DeMartini, Ph.D. will deliver the lecture, part of the annual winter lecture series offered by the Bureau of Land Management King Range National Conservation Area and the Lost Coast Interpretive Association.

Dr. DeMartini is a professor emeritus in the Dept. of Biological Sciences at Humboldt State University. He is part of the Redwood Science Project, which promotes science education in kindergarten through high school.

The King Range National Conservation Area is part of the BLM’s National Landscape Conservation System. Additional information on the area’s natural resources and recreation opportunities is available at www.blm.gov/ca/arcata/kingrange.
