Corrected Tax Bills Mailed This Week

Humboldt Co. Press Release:

Due to an error, property tax bills with incorrect information were sent in late September. Therefore corrected yellow bills were mailed this week. The original tax bills display incorrect rates for school bonds, and the new bills correct that error. The difference between the two bills is very small in the vast majority of these cases, but as required by law the County must ensure accuracy in all tax bills sent to property owners. These corrected bills satisfy that requirement.
