Fire near Comptche in Mendocino

UPDATE 5:45 P.M.: Cal Fire now says the Flynn Fire is 200 acres and only 5% contained.

Cal Fire reports a 50 acre fire in the hills west of Ukiah near Comptche between Flynn Creek Road and Comptche Ukiah Road ignited this afternoon around 2:20 P.M. The fire is expanding rapidly and the smoke is traveling east. An air quality advisory has been issued for the area all the way to Ukiah.
