Sheriff Dept. Releases Name of Suspicious Death in Hoopa–Calls It Homicide

The suspicious death associated with the investigation into the hit and run yesterday has now been named a homicide.  The victim is Dorothy Ulrich, 47 years old of Hoopa.

Humboldt Co. Press Release:

The Humboldt County Sheriffs Office is now investigating the suspicious death as a homicide. The victim has been identified as Dorothy Ulrich, 47 years old. The manner of death is not being released at this time. The investigation is ongoing and detectives are actively following possible leads and processing evidence obtained at the scene. An autopsy has been scheduled in Santa Rosa for Tuesday, October 2, 2012. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
