Probation Search in Garberville Yields Meth Plus More

Humboldt CO. Sheriff’s Press release:

On 06-21-2012 at about 0830 hours Humboldt County Drug Task Force assisted by the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office conducted a probation search at a room located at the Lone Pine Motel in Garberville.

Agents searched the motel room that was being occupied by Brandy Anne Land age 38 and Wade Daniel Harris age 30. Both subjects are on felony probation out of Humboldt County. When Agents searched the room they located approximately 6 pounds of processed marijuana, scales and package materials. Agents located approximately ½ of an ounce of methamphetamine in the toilet bowl in the bathroom. It appeared that Harris attempted to flush the methamphetamine down the toilet as Agents were knocking on the door to the motel room.

Land was arrested for possession for sales of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance smoking pipe, maintaining a room for the distributing of a controlled substance and for violation of probation. Land is currently in custody at the Humboldt County Correctional Facility and her bail has been set at $50,000 dollars.

Harris was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and violation of probation. Harris is currently in custody at the Humboldt County Correctional Facility and his bail has been set at $50,000.

So what’s the big deal? Aren’t people nowdays entitled to kill a least one person before they have to go to jail?

If you look into the record of those that have killed people in Humboldt County, you will find that to be the case.
