Jim Steward Resigns as Superintendent of SHUSD
According to Dennis O’Sullivan, Southern Humboldt Unified School District’s Board President, “The SHUSD Board, yesterday afternoon, reluctantly accepted Mr. Jim Stewart’s resignation as Superintendent and SFHS principal effective at the end of this school year. Jim is looking towards a career change, hopefully just temporarily, he is just too good a role model, educator and leader to lose. Jim has packed three years of effort into this one school year and we will miss him.”
The SHUSD Board will have to begin the process of selecting a new person to fill Stewart’s positions.
