Fawns!

Kym Kemp / Thursday, March 3, 2011 @ 1:39 p.m. / Humboldt , Salmon Creek ,  wildlife

Came across these sweet little babies from two years ago.  They made me long for a Humboldt Spring and more chances to see the dearest deers—the fawns.

  • Precious! Needed that badly.
  • Kym,

That is absolutely the cutest picture. You are the best. It seems like you could reach out and touch.
  • so sweet, i was really thinking though, “It’s too early for fawns!”
You always see them before we do, but in March!
  • Just two more months and they will be here.
  • Such sweet children.

I remember camping in the Sequoia Nat’l Forest and waking up to the sound of a deer’s hoofbeats…barely a few feet from our tent. Such a thrilling sound.
  • That is SO cute! I can’t wait to see the family of deer that live in my mountain area this spring. Spring can’t come soon enough for me!
  • what a neat photo!
  • Is it wrong for a guy to go “squeeee”?
  • Cute little suckers, aren’t they?
