Fatal Accident Near Weott Early This Morning
The CHP site is reporting a solo vehicle accident on the Northbound offramp out of Weott. The accident occurred around 3:30 this morning. The vehicle was a jeep with possibly two occupants. The site is reporting one person as a confirmed fatality. The offramp may still be blocked–information is unclear at this time. Please be careful.

confirmed dead, jessica lukas of mckinleyville, brother dillon in car moderate,,mother,leigh grant of mck in serious condition, just had brain surgery in redding after airlifted there, prayers to family..we have mutual relatives…so sad…leigh was a nurse and no drugs or alcohol suspected… maybe feel asleep…maybe a deer? i dont think the mother knows she lost her daughter yet, due to the surgery..but i am probably wrong…as it went to print in T.S. but she remains in hospital in redding. they both attended my sons memorial. now this…the mother has lost both of her daughters now:{..pray for this beautiful family.
