Spot Fire in Humboldt 100% Contained

 

Cal Fire has announced that there were 50 lightning strikes in Northern California. Out of these there were six which became fires.  One of these was in Humboldt.  It was only small though and is already 100% contained.

We’re not out of the danger zone yet though.  The National Weather Service currently still has a Red Flag warning in effect until 6pm tonight

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHWEST CALIFORNIA. .DAY ONE…TODAY AND TONIGHT. A RED FLAG WARNING IS CURRENTLY IN EFFECT FOR VERY LOW HUMIDITY AND GUSTY EAST WINDS OVER THE UPPER SLOPES AND RIDGES ABOVE 2500 FEET UNTIL 6 PM TODAY. …THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS ON SUNDAY AND MONDAY.
