Cannabis Video on Juicing

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qa0nLdVJiIg&feature=player_embedded]

This excelent juicing video talks about the benefits of raw cannabis.  The piece talks about a two year old with brain tumors that was sent to Hospice and recovered (see around minute 8.) Kristen Peskuski, that I wrote about in a juicing piece for High Times Medical speaks out about the wonderful changes she believes has occurred in her health because of juicing.  Dr. Courtney talks about some of the science behind the practice.  Sheriff Tom Allman talks about the legal aspect.

Kym, I am sharing this with family in the marijuana-fearing mid-west. More folks need to see marijuana in this medicinal light and understand there’s more to the plant than getting high. Thanks for sharing.

Dr Courtney and his wife have done great service in the 215 front. He also has been highly compensated for his work and I find myself a bit put off. He charges $220 per “visit” and is easily grossing… well, I’ll let you figure it out. Certainly the most highly paid practitioner around. I thought my oral surgeon was expensive… His articles and interviews in New Settler are useful but he seems to have filled the majority of the recent issues. There are far less expensive 215 practitioners around our area.

I know folks who drive several hours round trip to renew their 215 every year. That’s a lot of time and energy. One great thing about docs like Courtney is that you can do it online. Saves a whole bunch of gas money and time. It’s also easier on the environment.

Great video, and you can get many of these same benefits by juicing fruits, veg, and greens (of all varieties). Personally, I think the key is to stop consumption of the crap (a.k.a. processed foods) found mostly in the isles of most grocery stores. Buy from the perimeter; buy whole, organic, local foods.

🙂

One of the women who credits juicing with her improved health told me that part of it came from more vegies and fruit in her life– she adds the cannabis to juice from them. Still, there seems to be something more to it.
