Sheriff Allman Says More Local Folk May Face Arrests as Result of Mendo National Forest Raids
In addition to the 102 arrests already made, Mendocino Sheriff Tom Allman says that there will be more arrests next week. According to the Ukiah Daily Journal, “”The more intelligence we gather, and the more we can put (detainees) with a garden, of course you’re going to have more arrests,” Allman said. “Next week you’ll see a click-up on some of the arrests … (and) you’re going to see possibly some local people who were involved in some of these situations.”
Interestingly, in spite of the push to rid the public lands of dangerous ties to Mexican cartels, of the 102 arrested, only 13 were “detained on administrative immigration violations” while the rest were booked on federal and state charges. Of course, the remaining 89 could still be related to the Mexican cartels and even be illegal immigrants charged here first and then sent back after prison.

I see that now EPIC in Garberville, who also supply the Humboldt DA with a Campaign Manager, is trying to force the National Forest to stop and conduct studies before taking on eradication of illegal pot. Isn’t that funny since EPIC has now lost its Office Manager to a pot busk in Blue Lake. Funny how this is all linked. By the time that could get done the pot would be gone and EPIC would have more “MEMBER SUPPORTED REVENUE.” Sorry America, but in NorCal you have lost your National Forests to pot….It is not even safe to be out there right now either on the Mendo, the Six, or the Shasta.
I guess I am really sad. After retiring from the railroad and then seeing it close down, now seeing this wonderful area turned into hoodies, jacked up trucks, thugs and long haired skinny guys that smell so bad their own mothers do not want you to know they gave birth to them all for a damned weed!
Is there anyway to get Humboldt Mendocino Trinity back?

Concerned, I missed that story about EPIC trying to force the National Forest to do a study before eradicating pot. Do you remember where you saw that at?
