Humboldt Coal Cooking

If you love Humboldt food and country cooking, check out this channel on YouTube.  I just watched Wet Pork Burritos being made that according to my husband “will light your ass on fire!” The food looks delicious, the type of cooking is intriguing, and it’s filmed at Swimmer’s Delight using many local products such as Bien Padre tortillas and Wichepec  hot sauce.

Thanks, Kym. Nicely done, Colton and Dean the Fogcrawler. That’s a lot of fire, fresh chilis, and wetness, all right. Those burritos ARE looking good. For those seeking the delicious wetness and warmth recipe, here’s the

Sorry, Skippy. I set that post up last night and it looked like it was right but this morning I discovered that the video didn’t show. Fixed it and thanks for your help!

Thanks, Kym!

I haven’t thought about cast iron cooking since the early 1990s when my son and I were involved in The Boy Scouts of America. I see what I’ve been missing. I’ll have to find a nice campsite next to a cool stream so those of us whose arses are on fire form last night’s supper will be able to find relief!

This is why I check your blog daily
