I hate to be persnickety, however, your “Fuchia” is a Columbine. But, it is nonetheless a beautiful picture. It is a Humboldt County indigenous plant. I have those in my front yard and I can’t weed the garden until they come up, because I just hate to weed them out by accident.

Ernie, You are so right. Why did I do that? I know the difference. I’ll fix it right now. This one isn’t a wild one though. The best thing about Columbines is that they will mix types and every year is a surprise to see what combinations will crop up!
