Fire Inspections in Bear Buttes and Possibly Salmon Creek

Inspectors with CalFire’s Defensible Space program plan to inspect Bear Buttes Rd. tomorrow — Thu 6/2. If time allows, they will also start working in Salmon Creek. The aim of the inspections is to identify potential fire hazards and educate landowners on defensible space and strategies for making their residences and buildings more fire safe. The inspectors will be in uniform and driving a marked CalFire pickup. Anyone wishing to have an inspection of their property, please contact the Garberville CAL FIRE Station at 923-2645.
